Sustainable Ecological Ethical Development (SEED) Foundation (formerly named as Hong Kong Organic Farming Association) aims at promoting the local organic movement and developing sustainable living culture.

Development Officer


We are now inviting a suitable individual with passion to join our local organic movement as Development Officer.  The successful candidate will be responsible for SEED’s image building, media relationships and the overall planning and development of the fundraising, marketing and communication programs.  He/She will help source and prospect both individual and corporate sponsorship, and ensure sponsors' requirements are fulfilled.  He/She will also be responsible for other administrative duties as assigned.

Requirements
  • Tertiary educated preferable in Communications, Marketing or related disciplines
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in fundraising, marketing, and/or public relations
  • Creative and innovative, self-motivated with strong project management ability
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, ability to work with people of all levels
  • Strong commitment to the aims and values of SEED
  • Immediately available is preferred

Produce Green Foundation, a non-profit charitable organization, was established in 1988 by a group of local enthusiasts concerned about modern farming and the environment.  We set up the first organic farm in Hong Kong at Hok Tau, Fanling.  We promote green lifestyles and provide green living education to the public through the concept of organic farming.  We are now looking for suitable candidates for the following positions to pursuit our mission:

(1)Development Officer (Fundraising)

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the overall development, operation and administration of the fundraising, marketing and communication strategies and projects
  • Prepare fundraising proposal, reports, budgets and communication materials
  • Manage and improve donor database and to ensure maximum efficiency of donor services and donor satisfaction
  • Responsible for PGF’s image building, media relationships and press release, etc.
  • Plan and implement exhibitions and events
  • Organize and manage volunteer issues
Requirement
  • Degree holder in Communications, Marketing or related disciplines
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in fundraising, marketing, and/or public relations, or equivalent
  • Creative, innovative and analytical skills to identify and respond quickly to new opportunities.
  • Self-motivated with strong project management ability and attentive to details
  • Able to handle multi-tasks and priorities time and resources accordingly.
  • Strong interpersonal, team-building and leadership skills.
  • Well organized, high sense of responsibility and able to work effectively both independently and with a team.
  • Willing to work under pressure and overtime
  • Outstanding written and spoken communication skills in Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua) and English.
  • Proficient computer and internet knowledge, as well as database analysis.
  • Strong commitment to the aims and values of PGF and able to deliver professional standard of work in a non-profit environment
  • Immediately available is preferred.
  • 5 working days including Sat/Sun & public holidays

Due to increasing demand of our service, we are looking for a capable person to join our team.

Shop Assistant

Job Responsibilities:
1/ handle checkout of customers, answer walk-in customers’ enquiries
2/ do the cashier books as required by Accountant
3/ inform customers about VIP membership scheme at checkout
4/ maintain display on cashier desk as assigned   
5/ answer telephone calls
6/ assist with some clerical work as assigned
7/ maintain office supplies (stationery & pantry)
8/ take part in ad hoc job as assigned      

Working Hours:
Mondays to Fridays – 9:30am to 6:30pm; Saturdays – 9:30am to 5:30pm; rest on Sundays and public holidays

Requirements:
1/ F.5 graduate
2/ health food or customer service experience preferred
3/ able to speak Mandarin, Cantonese and English
4/ computer literate e.g. Word, Excel
5/ honest, responsible, initiative, willing to learn, able to work in a team environment

Compensation:
1/ bank holidays
2/ staff purchase discount
3/ basic salary + lunch allowance + 13 months pay + discretionary bonus
